Websites by Artists
At g-Blu we are designers and artists. We will make your site simply beautiful. That said, we build the site from the code up, working with XHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and MXML mark-up. We create business sites, blog themes, online storefronts, Flash sites and full-featured data-base driven image galleries for artists, complete with unique themes to match your style. Info pages, news feeds, animations, contact forms, bio pages, product catalogues and shopping carts, we can build everything you need to promote your business or interact with your clients. This will be your online portfolio. We can also create a user friendly Content Management System if you wish to do your own site updates. We also work with some of the great open source resources to create blog sites and image galleries with custom themes and plugins.
Tools for Design
Modern websites are richer and much more flexible than the simple HTML sites of old. A handful of years back, webdesigners had to force the essentially style-devoid HTML to do many convoluted tricks. We had to hack, stretch, pad and alas, finally, compromise on the lush design. However, the static web page is a thing of the past.
Today g-Blu creates beautiful sites full of content, richly styled with CSS and spun through Javascript, AJAX, PHP to add great functionality. Web pages are created on the fly, dynamically, fetching new content as requested. This makes the job of design a joy and means no more compromise on beauty. ![]() ![]() ![]()
Cross Browser Compatibility
Today we are cruising around the web in many different ways. These are the top browsers we use daily on our computers. Google just launched Chrome in September 2008 and you can see it is already starting to grab an audience.
With this diversity in browsers we at g-Blu make sure that your website can be seen consistently no matter what program or device is used to view your web space. Yes, we check iPhone too. ![]()
Business Sites
g-Blu builds sites for your business. Whether you are an artist looking for an online portfolio, an attorney needing a way to interact with your clients, a crafter wanting an online storefront or a rock band wanting to amaze the world g-Blu can create a unique web environment for your business. The design side of our business will create the distinctive style to reflect your business while the tech side of g-Blu can add the database connectivity you might need and the e-commerce capabilities, either with a simple PayPal shopping cart or a more complex store presence. g-Blu is a design company but we do offer web hosting for small sites and for a larger web presence we work with either Godaddy.com to host the site or we can go directly with your existing host. After the site is built g-Blu has many options to get your site seen. We will get your site optimized for the major search engines and can set you up with a click-through ad program with Google or maybe you would like to be an Amazon affiliate seller. Drop g-Blu a note and let us see how we can help your business.

Sites for Artists
g-Blu began by building sites for artists back in early 2000. We specialize in making the website represent your unique artistic style. We can build everything you need for an online portfolio, from simple slideshows to full data-base driven image galleries. An online portfolio needs to be as beautiful as your 'analog' portfolio. "From my 20+ years experience in illustration, editors now want the availability of seeing new work directly from a website."
Slideshows, Contact Forms, Bios & Resumes, Databased Galleries, Shopping Carts
We've added simple PayPal e-commerce to several artist's sites and they now sell prints and originals directly from the site. We also offer full storefront capabilities.
